Our 2025 holiday performance was held at Hamline United Methodist Church on the evening of December 15, 2024. A great audience encouraged the choruses and the Mixed Meter quartet. Director Brandon Balbraith even led the audience in a sing=along and taught everyone a tag, "I'll Be Home For Christmas."
GNU and Vallee de Croix Chorus each sang a set of songs followed by Mixed Meter quartet.
We enjoyed the Mixed Meter quartet and especially their rendition of "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch." The combined choruses of Great Northern Union and Vallee de Croix sang two arrangements: "What Are You Doing Christmas Eve?" and "Once Upon a December."

Vallee de Croix Chorus enjoyed singing on the Lumberjack Days Stage. Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2023, at 2:00 we were welcomed to the stage. It was a sunny and blustery day but we sang our hearts out. Attachment:

What a wonderful reunion of current and previous Vallee de Croix Chorus members and directors, going all the way back to Mary - who was the original lady to begin the process of forming the chorus and chartering with Sweet Adelines Interenational.
More than 50 former members and Region 6 team members came together at 4:00 on July 16, 2023, to celebrate the 40th year of singing barbershop music in Stillwater, MN. The occasion also included a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce Director. Region 6 Manager Susan Krisnik presented the 40th anniversary certificate to chorus president, Kim Grossman and Director Brandon Galbraith.
We were entertained by a quartet from the St. Croix Chordsmen men's barbershop chorus. Our own local quartet started the program. Then after introductions and stories from members and the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the current chorus entertained everyone with five current repertoire selections. The program closed out with the singing of "Irish Blessing", which has been the closing song for every rehearsal. Everyone joined in.Attachment:
- RESULTS - Region 6 Annual Regional Chorus and Quartet Competition

The chorus competed in the annual Region 6 Competition in Rochester, MN.
Quartet Competition was Friday evening, April 21. Choruses competed Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023. Both contests took place in the Mayo Civic Center, Rochester, MN.
Ten choruses from the region performed, seven of those were in the competition. Vallee de Croix is excited that we received 5th place in the overall competition, and most importantly 3rd place in the small chorus category. Our director, Brandon helped us improve our performance level, and we look forward to continuing that progress.
